Welcome to your first night at the corpse factory!
We saw you were doing great at the day job, so we decided to put you into a more rewarding position. Your job will be the recycling of those corpses, that are, for the lack of a better term,  failures.  It's of utmost importance that we get back the parts wasted on those  creations. We have no reason  to assume that they can feel anything, so you need not fear the possibility  of them being alive.
But something keeps them moving.

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES

In my infinite wisdom I decided to make the game in the 4.5 Godot beta version because surely that wouldn't cause anything to break. Was able to export from 4.4 (stable) but there might still be issues. Let us know. For the best experience, download the windows build.

If the mouse doesn't work, press Tab in game and it should fix itself (web export).

Also apparently there's a bug where you can load the same level multiple times at once so don't do that I guess.

Submission to the Inbound Shovel Jam (July 11th - July 21st 2025)

Controls:

Tab - Pause

Left Click/M1 - Shoot shotgun

Right Click/M2 - Shoot rocket

Space - Jump

W/A/S/D - Movement

R - Reload map

Side Note:

This was our first experience with 3D games.  And since our usual artist wasn't available, I (TERM1NUS) had to take up 3D modelling so any feedback is appreciated.

Snarg says: I know the movement system isn't exactly identical to that of Quake (ramp jumps, general feel) but it's good enough. Also if the short guys look funny when walking along edges, that's because ray casts always stop working on the last day of a jam so I had to resort to alternate methods.
